Three recent kitchens
Three recent kitchens show the range. In a whole-home rebuild we set Typhoon Bordeaux granite from Granite Cosmos Charleston, installed by Granite Depot, over cabinets with beadboard trim and trim feet, with an integrated stone sink in the counter, sapele shelves, an exposed brick backsplash, pop-up outlets in the island and a range hood finished in tadelakt. In Summerville the brief was simpler and just as careful: white shaker cabinets, a Fantasy Brown countertop, and tile on the floor and backsplash. In West Ashley we did not tear the kitchen out at all: new 2-inch pine flooring matched to the rest of the house, repainted cabinets and a quartzite counter.
